What legal fees can I expect to pay?

You can expect to pay approximately 1.5% of the property price (subject to a minimum cost) to a lawyer acting on your behalf in Bulgaria. As an example, if you purchased a Bulgarian property costing €100,000 then you could expect to pay around €1,500 in legal fees.

We have negotiated fixed fees with a selection of Bulgarian lawyers that we are happy to recommend. These fixed fees provide a more competitive price for our clients but in return, we ask that you use one of our recommended lawyers. This avoids any delays to the purchasing process and ensures consistency of service for all our clients.
